Unsolicited feedback from attendees

Just a quick note to say a huge thank you to the PESA team for putting on an awesome two day event – it was jam packed with information, inspiration and motivation and such a great opportunity and pleasure to meet some wonderful people, and to put some faces to names. Already looking forward to the Oz PESA Summit 2009!

I enjoyed it, found I learnt quite a lot, got to do lots of networking…I’ll be there next year!

This is the second year I have attended and there is always something to learn. Having the opportunity to speak one on one to members of Paypal and eBay is always beneficial as well as having the opportunity to network with other sellers.

While I will say that some attendees (including a number of Boardies!) can certainly party, the information I pick-up at these events is always invauluable. In fact, some of the hottest tips come from other Sellers whilst socialising. And it is great to meet everyone face-to-face at last. I have come away from both conferences with many “nuggets” to assist me in growing my business.

To everyone who didnt attend you have missed one of the most important chances to grow your business this year and I strongly urge you to go and book for the Melbourne dates NOW. BRING BUSINESS CARDS, I cannot stress that enough. Ask lots of questions and take plenty of notes, you will be growing your business very quickly.

Thanks to all the guest speakers and staff. What a fantastic event. I learnt so much and had great conversations with management from eBay, Trust and Safety and Paypal. You all made me feel that my concerns and suggestions actually mattered to you, so 5 full stars for your customer service and 5 full stars to PeSa for organising this event.

You will get a lot out of it, it was fantastic. This just might inspire you in a direction you had not thought of. It was kind of like a mini eBay Live, stands and staff from Australia Post, Paypal, Channel advisor etc. Loads of staff to talk to, Top Sellers to listen to. Lots of people to meet.

Fully recommended … whether you’re flying, flagging or feeling half-half about your eBay selling. You have plenty of opportunity to input / question about any concerns.

I grabbed a lot of opportunities. Spending 10 minutes alone with one of eBay’s top sellers and getting his insights was worth most of the cost, especially given that his situation when he started on eBay is similar to that I find myself in now in trying to decide whether to give full-time eBay a go. Another 10 minute session alone with Australia Post’s National Parcel Manager was especially valuable to me.

On a massive controversial note….Get off your bums and go see what everyone is talking about!
